Hello everyone! Chantal here with you today!! :D

Hi there!  I hope my post finds you all well!

I have three layouts to share with you today - all using some lovely goodies available from D-lish Scraps.  I simply can't create a layout without a bit of D-lish on it!

Here is my first layout, "Sweet Butterfly Kisses", based on a recent Skissedilla sketch...

I have used FWAB Elise Silver Flourish, cut into two pieces.  I've kept the gorgeous flowers that you get in the pack for another project.  I wanted to use butterflies instead to match my layout's theme! :)

The Yellow Resin Butterflies from D-lish Scraps are absolutely gorgeous!  You get a pack of five to play with and I've used them all on this layout!  And at 50 cents for all five... why not?!  Lol!

I have layered the butterflies on top of Jenni Bowlin butterfly stickers (which come with those round alphabet stickers... cool!).

My next layout has been created using a recent Creative Scrappers sketch.  It's called "Captured Memories"...

I've used some gorgeous Medium Polka Dot Buttons on the top left of my layout...

And I've used FWAB Elise Antique Brown Flourish on my layout, cut up into three pieces...

Here is a close up of the main piece I used.

Other than the flourish, you also receive two stunning flowers and some extra rhinestones.  I have already used the flowers on another project, but this handmade one did just the trick.

I have adhered the extra rhinestones in the middle of some of the larger flourish swirls.

Here is another piece of flourish, made to look like a "kangaroo bounce".  Lol!

And here is the third piece at the top right corner.  :)

I've also done a fair bit of "upcycling" on this layout.  I have used some clothing tags, postage stamps and a mandarin bag. :)  Actually almost all my layouts have "upcycled" stuff on them... the first layout made use of a Body Shop gift bag, which really suited the American Crafts Amy Tangerine Sketchbook patterned papers!  Lol!

The final layout I'm going to share with you is based on a recent Stuck?! sketch and it's called "A New Dress"...

I've pulled embellies apart here, namely the Prima flowers.  The gold filagree disc was part of another flower that I pulled apart and the large flower has been dissected too and I've used the bottoms from Kaisercraft flowers on them, some old plain green Kaisercraft flowers, and I've added a D-lish Carved Resin Heart and the resin oval was originally from the large Prima flower.

I am really loving these big D-lish Carved Resin Hearts!  They measure approx 2" and they have such lovely detail, too!  I've used the light pink one here.

I've used FWAB Jack Vine - Green along with some left-over Kaisercraft wooden flourishes, that I'd used on another layout previously.I've also used D-lish's Journal-It Days of the Week - White on my layout... cut up in a fun way!I really seem to go through paper dollies on my layout... especially when I realise I've glued like 3 layers on the layout... by mistake!  Lol!  I've used two different sized paper doilies on here... and they can be found here, inshore.

Now I don't know if you can tell by the photo, but if the main photo looks a bit 3D-ish, that's because it kind of is.  Through a mis-hap with glue I had to print another identical photo out and because the embellishments were already glued around it, I fussy-cut around the photo and adhered it over the top of the original photo with foam tape.  Most of the time for me, stuff-ups work out in a positive and creative way.  I embrace the stuff-up!  :)

That's all from me for today, have a great week!!!

Cheers,
Chantal

Hearts & Twine

For Father's Day, at the beginning of the month, we went on a family picnic to our closest national park. We had a lovely day going for a bushwalk and climbing over lots of rocks! It was great to be out and about doing something together as a family. I took this photo of my favourite people and just had to scrap it!

I have used some of the new twines that you can find in the store here.

And these heart buttons were just perfect for my layout - they come in a mix of bright colours.

Don't forget to check out the 'What's New' section in the D-lish Store - there are heaps of new goodies that have been uploaded in the last few days. ;)

Birthday Girl

Hi guys! It's Lauren here again. This week it's my turn to share some of my layouts using lots of yummy D-lish Products. :)

A couple of weekends ago, my middle child, Michala, turned 6. She wanted to have a party with some of her school friends, which was a huge success. This is a layout I did using the photos of her blowing out the candles on her toadstool cake.

I have used some of the gorgeous vintage roses which are available in a whole heap of colours.

I've added some hand-dyed lace as well.

And I've added one of these cute resin flowers to my page as well.

I'll be back later in the week with another layout to share. :)

Playing catch up!

Silly old me forget that it was my turn to share some D-Lish creations the week before last! So luckily, I am doing a fabbo quick post today just to make up for that hopefully. It was indeed a busy week that week with my baby turning 3, can't believe I forgot to blog, as I use D-Lish products on a near daily basis. *slaps forehead*

I wanted to share with you all a couple of layouts I have done recently for various challenges around the place.

First up- Oh the places you'll go- BW2 challenge.
One of the good things about D-Lish Scraps is that the embellishments are appropriate for different themes, and can be used to suit any photo or age bracket.
At the moment I am loving hearts and stars and you will see them all over my projects recently! Luckily for me and any other star and heart lover out there, D-Lish Scraps has some amazing embellishments featuring these shapes. I especially love the Bright Star buttons. You can get heart ones too which I also enjoy using.

I have used:

roses
old fashioned rose-med violet

(I love these!!)
washi tape
bright star buttons
resin flowers
and a gorgeous new lace button!!

Next layout - Darling- White with 1

I have used:

Washi tape
carnations
wild rose
cherry blossom
bright heart button
tutu blossom
cameo
jewel flower

Look at that gorgeous little orange cameo sitting in the centre of my stamped heart :)

and those new tutu blossoms are just so pretty and dainty. They come in a great range of colours- and are so affordable! I can't get enough of them!!

Third layout - Dance (like no one is watching)- Scrap the Girls

I used:

washi tape

wild roses
NEW tutu blossoms
Hand Dyed Seam Binding- Coffee Stain
Journal It's- Spool top sentiments
Carved Resin Heart
Roses

Ok are you seeing a pattern with the wonderful products I have been enjoying lately? Especially that washi tape which comes in so many different styles and colours. D-Lish Scraps has the biggest range of washi I have seen!

I swiped some white paint over my carved resin heart to help bring out that very detailed and intricately designed pattern on the heart.

I hope you all feel inspired to do some shopping and scrap up a storm using the incredible range of embellishments at D-Lish Scraps.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Love Kate xo

Very Bright........

Its a bright and sunny day today and i love this time of the year when blooms are out and the kids are outside enjoying the nice weather.

So to go with my "bright" theme, i would like to show a layout which was based on a sketch by Sara N at Stuck.

I just loved my Metal Filligrees which i purchased recently from D-Lish. They are so easy to bend and add to whatever project you would like to create.

And i have added a few Mini Roses which were great to weave in and out of the metal leaves.

I hope i have brightened up the start of your day on a good note and inspired you to scrap a little more....

Seriously...

This year is going too quickly.....

This week i will be showing off a few of my layouts that i have included D-lish embellishments.

So my first layout that i would like to share is a layout that i created for a CT position on STUCK.So this is the sketch created by Sara N which i had to base my creation on.

And this is my layout:

I have used my fav washi tape found here and some journal spots found here.

Here are a few close ups:

My layout is a bit grungy looking for me- not the bright and colourful style like i normally do....LOL

Hope you can stop by again.Stay tuned for some more creations in the next few days....
