November Inspiration Board Challenge

And just like that it is November! This means today we are releasing our final board for the Spring Creative Team. These last 3 months have flown by and I really hope you are all enjoying these monthly boards as much as I am bringing them to you. The Creative Team have once again pulled together to create some amazing inspiration for you all. But firstly, we must reveal the board ...

Out to Sea

A nautical themed board this month, lets see how each of the team have put their own spin on it!

Stars & Stripes by Anne Patterson

Anne firstly chose her background paper with the large font to emulate the quote from the board. She has also taken inspiration from the bracelets and wrapped twine across the page linking up her charms.

Your Love by Kaitlynne Roil

Kaitlynne loved the long anchor related quote from the board so has used one to create her title. She has also wrapped twine around her flair like the rope around the mirror in the board.

Aye Captain by Katie Howard

Katie has given us another twist on the nautical theme with these photos of her daughter at the ship in the park. She's used the sketch as the starting point for her page and with the colours and some twine/rope her page is done.

Taking Life's Journey by Kylie Cornish

Kylie found the same quote we used on the board and has cleverly printed it onto her background cardstock. Keeping the rest of her layout quite simple and using some twine and wrapping like the bracelets on the board.

The Ferrymen by Meredith Treloar

The sketch provided was the basis for Meredith's layout. Instead of the base rectangle of patterned paper in the sketch she has created a frame using the string of sequins ... we love this effect! Finished off simply with some nautical embellishments.

Before We Met by Ros Madley

Ros was so lucky to have these photos of her husbands navy days from before they met. They were perfect to go with the nautical colour scheme from the board. Such a special memory to record.

.............................................................................................................................

Sea Dog by Wendy Smith

Another completely different take on the challenge from Wendy using this seaside photo of her puppy Max. The perfect colour scheme to showcase them with all the fantastic embellishments. We love how the misting looks like foamy saltwater bubbles.
.............................................................................................................................

WOW! So much wonderful inspiration and so many different twists on the theme. We hope that you have been inspired to create your own nautical themed project.

Full details for the challenge can be found under the 'Current Inspiration Board and Rules' tab at the top of the blog. Layouts need to be linked in the sidebar by midnight AEST on the last day of the month to be in the running.

Don't forget that our co-ordinating 'Just Add Paper' kit will be available from the D-lish Scraps store for just $10. You don't have to purchase the kit to play, feel free to dig into your stash!
Can't wait to see all your fabulous entries!
