'Together' by Sarah Rosse

Hello everyone,
Sarah here with you for my second December layout! Happy New Year to you all!

For this layout I used the October Just Add Paper kit 'Plus One' to highlight the special relationship my youngest son has with his Popi. Here they are playing 'doctors' but I just loved the colours in this kit that would match just about any kind of layout. The blacks, greys and turquoises are delightful together. Whilst this kit may be sold out, you can visit the D-lish online store for past kits 'bits n pieces' by clicking here.

I used the October inspiration board for this kit to assist in the design for this layout. Using the stencil provided in the kit, I applied Colour Blast paste in Snow White to the layout - I love the sparkle of this paste when dry. There are so many gorgeous embellishments in this kit - as you can see, my favorites included the vellum printed stars and small sequins. Here are some close up shots of the layout;

Thanks for joining me for this month's shared layouts and I wish you every crafty goodness for the new year!

FRIENDS- By Tracey Wright

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and had a lovely day spending time with family and friends.

I'm sharing with you all another fun layout I have created using lot's of gorgeous D-lish goodies.

This layout l have used the Tranquil Moon JAP Kit. I just love the colours in this kit, they are so bright and summery.

I had this photo taken of myself and my friend at my friends 40th Birthday party. The theme of the party was a WILD THEME. We had a really great time as you can see in the photo. This was a fun page to do.

First, to create my background I used a stencil from my stash, and used some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine sprays to create these beautiful colours.

After it was dried, I added some strips of washi tape, to where I was going to create my focal point with my photos.

Then I placed some tissue paper that came from the kit, Punchinella, Paper Doiley all from my stash of D-lish goodness. Then added some hand dyed Muslin that I had from my stash as well.

Then l tucked in a note tab just before l placed my 2- 3x4 photos down.

I cut up a Pip Berry Stems wire, and then placed in little clusters with some flowers and embellishments all that came from the JAP KIT .

I also used some butterflies and glass beads from my stash, and a heart from Charms Creations I had.

Well that is it for this year. I hope you all have a safe and happy New Year, and I will be back again in the New Year to show you what l have been up to.

Take care

Tracey. x

happiness is....you & me - by Nicolee Cable

Hi everyone!!

Have you ever wandered through a store, looking at
non-scrapping products in scrapp-able ways?

I do all the time!  I can't help it.  It must be in my DNA.
It comes from years ago when I was a stay-at-home-mum and we
were only on one income, so budget-scrapping was definitely
a must!!  Well, old habits die hard and I still
wander through those cheap dollar stores and
something usually catches my eye and screams to be used on a layout!!

This is what jumped out at me this time!
Cork stoppers.  As soon as I saw them I knew
they were destined to be painted circles on my next layout.
And because I'm in love with copper at the moment, (if you haven't
been able to guess...)
I could see them already, in copper paint on my background!

...and this is how they turned out!!  Aren't they super cute?!
As they are tapered, you get double value for your money and
you have two different size polka dots!

It was then so easy to create with D-lish goodness around
this super funky home-made background!

I backed the photo onto a tab bag, then poked torn bits of doilie around it.

Here are the D-lish goodies that I choose to use on this layout:

enamel dots/shapes (cute little shapes like the airplane)

I hope this inspires you to look at non-scrappy products in stores in
different ways and then come back home and create some amazing
creations with D-lish embellishments as icing on the cake!

As this year comes to a close, I'd like to wish you a
wonderful 2017 and I hope it is a prosperous and joyful year for you all.

I'm looking forward to an exciting 2017 to showcase all
the amazing D-lish products in the store.

Adore you | Michelle Stokes

Hi Everyone! I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas, and are still enjoying time with family. We had a crazy busy but very enjoyable day with most of our extended families, then it was straight back to work for me today! No rest for the wicked hey?

Today post involves a little end of the month Inspiration, inspired by this months Inspiration Board, and using the current Just Add Paper kit - Peaches & Cream

Love this photo of Leila, taken back in 2011 when she was just shy of 7 months. That little face, and those big blue eyes!

Before I share the full layout, here's a closer look at the board and the contents of the kit.

The contents of these kits are so well co-ordinated, it's so hard not to use everything all at once on one layout!

I've gathered a few items from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Love Always collection as they had a similar colour scheme to the kits, and suited the floral themes on the Inspiration Board. I also love that Amanda has included cute flower die cuts within this kit. Perfect addition to the collection of embellishments on the page

I gathered most items to the right of the photo, including the title. I kept the wood veneer raw as I felt there wasn't a need for any extra colour added to the layout

Simple mini cluster made from Journal It's, paper flowers and some torn patter paper thats also under the photo

And lastly a touch of journalling to finish the layout off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to share your creations using D-lish Scraps products/kits within our Facebook group - The Scrap Suite. We also have a link up tool over on the right side of the blog for Inspiration Board layouts to be entered into our monthly draw, and theres also an album within the Facebook group if you would like to enter them there too.

Until next time, Happy Scrapping.
And have a very safe and Happy New year!!

"Today" by Malinda Gardner

Merry Christmas to you all.

A quick bit of a share with you today...a page that I managed to do this week amidst the madness of Christmas shopping and the week that is Christmas. So it had to be a quick page as I was pressed for time.

After I did my background I decided I wanted this to be a monochromatic layout, just blue, so I turned to my stash of D-lish stuff and pulled out all the blue embies plus some wood veneer cogs.
I had blue paint I had watered down from my background so I dipped the cogs into the paint, and used them to stamp a few cogs onto my page and then left them to dry with my background.

I love wire at the moment. I love how it flows across a page. I have blue wire but wanted some contrast so used the black wire and looped it across my page.

I can't believe I love flowers too at the moment, I just love them. I think it's because of all the gorgeous flowers at D-lish and all the different types, big and small, I just find I'm wanting to use them on every page, even the boy ones.

Last few embellishments are my flair button and some gem dots (from a past Just Add Paper kit) which I glued down, everything else is stapled down.

So there you have a bit of a different page to my last few shares, but still using a lot of the stuff I love at D-lish.
Hope you have a great Christmas Day and Santa brings you some D-lish stuff.

Mal xxx

"Elfie Selfie" by Gwen Wruck

Hi there,

Gwen back again today I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas season getting lots of craft time and taking lots of photos!!  I have a fun Christmas layout for you and I just love how it came together.

It started with a simple star shape die cut from my background paper and then paper layers added stating with a paper baggie.  It was a little wide for my photo stack so I simply trimmed some off with my paper trimmer and sewed around the edge.  I also added a Printed Tag for something fun.

For some subtle sparkle, I added a white Sequin Bow and can you see the beautiful sparkle from the gold Punchinella

The fabric flower is actually the bottom layer of the Mini Heirloom Flower.  I pulled off the bottom layer when I used the flower in another layout and thought I wonder if I will ever use it!!  Well, yes, I did, I simply added a button to the centre and it was perfect!  You can also see in this close up the pop of the colour in the Resin Flowers.

Lastly I'll leave you with a close up of all my paper layers, I love the mix of the soft Paper Doilies and then the sparkle of the Punchinella, then wood veneer for texture.

Products used:

5x7 Paper Bag
Sequin Bows
Mini Heirloom Flowers
Punchinella
Paper Doilies
Printed Tag
Resin Flowers

"Together" by Jaimie

Hi D'lish peeps!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my latest creation.

This is a Layout featuring a snap of my beautiful Daughter Emily & I on a rainy weekend away at Nelson Bay. I used a gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Studios paper collection "Love Always" for this one.

I started with a piece of Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock (my favourite for mixed media as it takes wet media so well). I then began by adding some pink spray, followed by some liquidtex glass bead paste through a stencil over the top. You can find some awesome stencils from D-lish here.

I tore a "V" in the top right of the paper and rolled the cardstock back to reveal the patterned paper I adhered underneath to add some interest.

I then started by layering a white paper doily as a base for a layered photo mat. I added some pink punchinella peeking out underneath the photo mat, which I popped up on some foam tape to add dimension.

On the top left of the photo, I layered up a pile of paper flowers, a resin bow and an enamel heart shape to create a dimensional photo corner.

On the bottom right of the photo mat, I wanted to echo the other photo corner, so I layered Paper flowers, resin flowers, enamel shapes, white stranded sequins and a suede tassel to anchor the title.

For the title, I used a cut apart from the collection, and cut the end in a banner. I added some stickers from the paper collection to finish the layout.

I hope you enjoyed my pretty, soft & feminine layout as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Thanks for looking, Jaimie.

Christmas Cards by Charmane Koch

WOW! Can you believe there's only a few days left of the year?

Christmas is coming up SO quick - and I must admit I haven't been getting into the Christmas spirit as I usually do, which is sad, even the kids have noticed it!

I've been trying to squeeze in some creative time and have been really struggling, however, I do have a couple of weeks off and I plan to MAKE SURE that I make time to play & RELAX for a change!

Anyway, I usually try to make some Christmas Cards every year, and hopefully I will get to send them out! HAHA!

When I saw the Christmas "Festive Wishes" JAP kit I KNEW that I had to have it, and had planned to scrapping a page or two, but instead I thought why not make some Cards using it...

To create my cards I used the gorgeous White Paper Doilies as the base for each. I folded them over and glued down - I love how part of the doily is on the back of the card.

This would be my favourite card out of the 3 that I made - Love the Pink + Silver + White colour combo with the Merry Christmas Wood Veneer.

I positioned all the gorgeous bits from the kit until I thought it looked balanced and looked *right*.
I added an extra Silver Sequin Bow which was in my stash as well.

How pretty are the colours in this kit? I love how they are non-traditional colours.

This card I used the Foil Deer card positioning so that it wasn't perfectly straight. Again I have layered the embellishments until I was happy with the positioning. The Wood Veneer Stars I coloured using Silver Gelatos.

This last Card I made I decided to cluster the embellishments along the inner circle of the doily - I layered all of the different embellishments to create interest...

I started with the Festive Wishes Flair {set of 3 still available in the shop!} and working around I missed it up with the Paper Flowers, Journalling Bits, Sequin Bow {this was extra from my stash}...

Then mixed it up with the different Paper Flowers & Resin Flowers, making sure they were all different types sizes as I went along...

Did you notice that I have used the "Festive Wishes" tag & the Silver Glitter & white string is from the packaging? Don't throw them out! These can be used too!

SO, have you used YOUR Festive Wishes Kit yet? Do you make your own cards?

Why not have a play and make some with the kit!

I hope I have inspired you & wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Stay Safe!

XO Charmane
