"Happy" by Tracey Wright

Hi, l hope everyone has been well and is enjoying the Summer Break. I'm back to share with you my layout l have created using lots of beautiful D-lish products. Using a pop of colour of blues and white splash on Kraft paper as your background.

First l used some Colorblast paste over a stencil to create my background. Then l just layered up a Doily
folded in half, some Punchinella, a Journal Round Tab , and a Paint Chips Tab, tucked all under my photo.

Then to the left of my photo l added a Sequin Butterfly some pretty flowers, a Bitty Bloom and some Paper flowers

Then in the bottom right hand corner of my photo on my layout l added a Flair Button , a Bitty Bloom, a Small Rose, a Large Rose and a Resin Bird which l rubbed some white paint over it. Also l added a Charm embellishment that l had in my stash. Then simply splashed white paint over my page to make it all pop.

That's it and all finished. A great and quick page to do. By simply using beautiful D-lish products that are available in the store. Just makes your layout that extra special don't you think.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Look forward to seeing you again very soon.

'Hello Christmas' by Sarah Rosse

Hello again,

Sarah here, with two 6x8 layouts I created for my Christmas 2015 album (yes, I am a bit behind!). There two layouts use a number of bits n pieces from Just Add Paper kits I have collected over time.

For this first layout, I have used lime punchinella, a gold foil doiley, the 'hello' chipboard piece from Kinder Creations has been embossed with white embossing powder, sequins and of course the gorgeous green resin deer. The die cut piece was an exclusive from the Peacock Parade Just Add Paper kit. Past kits and bits can be picked up in store while stock lasts.

The paper used is the October Afternoon 'Eggnog' paper pack. I used Dylusions paints and white gesso to outline the page and add some texture to the layout. The other letter stickers for the title were from Stampin Up (I painted the CHRISTMAS with the Dylusions paint in 'Cut Grass') and Basic Grey B-SIDE.

Here is a close up picture of the gorgeous embellishments;

Here is my second layout for my Christmas album;

This photo is of my two boys in front of our tree (yes, my older son has a nice graze on his forehead in this one!).

The photo is layered with paper from my stash as well as tissue paper from the past Fruit Tingle JAP kit, the gorgeous star punchinella and embellished with a Christmas wooden veneer wreath.

The wide range of wooden veneer products can be purchased online. To see the range, click here.

I also finished off the layout with a few yellow D-lish dots - this matched the yellow background paper from my stash and my son's bright yellow shorts in the photo.

The little XO tag is from my stash and again I have used the October Afternoon 'Eggnog' range for the background paper.

Here is a close up shot:

Thanks for joining me....until next time!

'click click' - by Nicolee Cable

Hi lovely D-lish (and future D-lish) people!
I hope you had a great Australia Day this week and your
kids are settling into school again, for the last time
(like me) or for the first!
(The young man in the photo below is our
youngest and this is his final year in Senior School - where have the years gone!?!
After having kids in school for the past 17 years, I'm certainly going to
enjoy this next chapter in our family's lives! Anyway......back to my post )

Do you ever have lots of photos you want
to use on a layout, but don't want to overwhelm
your page?  I was so stoked when I came across these wood veneer frames
that fit these photo-booth photos perfectly!  No trimming needed.
I loved the fact they just sit perfectly on the
page and allow for a simple design with little else needed.

After adding just a few simple embellishments and
strips of patterned paper, I'm really
happy with how this funky layout turned out.

There's the puffy alphabet stickers which are so easy to use and
just add that cute little bit of dimension.
I've twisted black wire around and around a
small paint brush and placed it behind the letters.

These glitter enamel dots are so cute, and
I use them on so many different projects they are so
easy to use.

Then the only other embellishments I used on this
simple project was this gorgeous diamond resin shape and resin flower.
The colours are so beautiful are just set it off perfectly.

That's really all I have to share for this quick, simple
but effective layout - which shows you
that even though using a few D-lish embellishments, you can really pack a punch
with your eye-catching layouts.

Please be sure to head on over to the shop as
there are some really super cute new embellishments (such as
Bitty Bow clips and blooms) not to mention lace doilies and stencils
in stock.  But seriously....you better hurry before they
disappear fast!

I cannot believe we are heading into February
it's simply mind-blowingly scary as to how
time is passing by so quickly.

Be sure to be snapping those photos of everyday moments and
the super special ones to scrap and capture those memories forever.

Take care and I'm really
looking forward to seeing your layouts in
The Scrap Suite (on FB) with all your wonderful purchases.

Summer Fun | Michelle Stokes

Hello!! Michelle back today with a last minute reminder about our Current Inspiration Board - Summer Squeeze. The layout I'm sharing with you all today also features the co-ordinating Just Add Paper kit

The photo I've chosen documents one of the fun things most of the younger generation love to do during summer - running through a sprinkler on a hot day. I remember the fun I used to have as a child in this very same backyard!

I've used the sketch as a rough guide for how I wanted the layout to look, using the washi tape from the kit as the main 'pattern paper' strip on the left of the layout. I machine stitched through each piece to ensure it never peels up or moves, but also as an extra decorative touch. I tried to use as many pieces from the kit as I could, including the fun flamingo die cut.

Here's some close ups..

Apart from the kit, there are quite a few items from the D-lish Store that I've used within the clusters on this layout. All of which I've linked below

Journal It's - Monochromatic pack,  Round & Round 'Brights', Tab from past kit
Puffy Alphabet sticker - Coral
Minifetti
D-lish Flair buttons - Mixed script words pack B, Positively Positive - Aqua
Veneer Frames
Lace Doily 5inch
Enamel Glitter dots
Dip Dye Tag

Thats all from me today, I hope this has inspired you to get a last minute creation made for the challenge. Remember you can now add your entries via the album in The Scrap Suite, as well as the usual Link up on the blog side bar.

Until next time, Happy Scrapping

"Love you" by Malinda Gardner

Hi all,

Malinda here with my 2nd share for January.
I'm keeping it simple this share with my page and my post. I'm in the habit at the moment of doing a background, adding a pic, a few embies and I'm done.

After my background I used the raw Kinder Kreations Squared Cubed chipboard that I discarded from my last page (I used the outline as a template on my last page, remember that) as an addition to the background

I love these large flowers at the moment, I need more in more colours.
I don't like to waste anything in my scrap room, so I often use packaging and the string that the D-lish kits come tied with. In this case it's the string from the January Just Add Paper Kit twisted and looped under my photo so it peaks out on both sides.

These flair buttons are soooo easy to use, I love how simple they are and no colours so they go with ANY page.
A bit of black coloured wire on the right as I felt that side was lacking something.

This title, whilst it doesn't really tell you much about the photo was just the right size and font for my page. It's from the January JAP kit too. I used my posca pen in yellow to give it a quick colour in.

Lastly, a few of the yellow enamel dots  for a bit more of a hit of yellow and to draw the eye to the middle of the page and the photo.

A lot of staples and a bit of glue to hold everything down and I'm done.
What do you think? Please comment to let me know...I'd love to hear what you think.

Until next month, happy scrapping.

xxx Mal

"Make A Wish" by Gwen Wruck

Hi everyone,

Gwen here with you today for my 2nd share this month for D-lish scraps and today I have a birthday layout to share with you.

Now I know you might be thinking, the page doesn't have her age on it!!!  It's ok, this is one of many many shots of the day and her age is well documented :)  There are many times I create just for the love of it and this certainly was one of those days!

This idea for this layout started with those big bold fussy cut flowers and their bright colour which I wanted to team with Pink of course!  After the fussy cutting was done, I stitching on the vellum paper in 2 sections and let that dictate the design of my page.

I also had the wood veneer frame square mini pack that I knew I wanted to use with the striking background paper, they come in the softest wooden colour perfect for leaving just as they are if you don't want to paint.

I also wanted to use these divine bright pink paper flowers and teamed them with the resin flowers which come in these super fab grab bags filled with lots of pretty colours.  I've also added in lots of layers and the layout was complete.

thanks for  popping by,

Adore You by Amanda Lawrence

Hello!

It's back to school here this morning in QLD and I have to say ... I'm enjoying the peace and quiet already. Don't get me wrong, I love my kids like crazy but a little 'alone' time is certainly appreciated after 6 weeks of holidays.

I am here today to share a layout I made recently. It's a selfie of my girl and I on one of our special mummy-daughter days.

I knew I wanted to use the 'Adore You' wood veneer from a past 'Just Add Paper' kit that I had. This one ended up in my stash as the 'e' snapped off in transit. Wood veneer is so easy to glue back together if this ever happens and to be honest ... you can't even tell!

I added lots of paper layers for visual interest and also included one of the 6" lace doilies. I add one of these to nearly every page lately. They are so pretty and delicate and not like any other paper doiley I have seen. My date is on a Journal Its Polka Dot Date tab which also adds another layer.

I used a variety of paper flowers from the store, some still available, some are older but there is still a huge range to choose from in a stack of colours. They really are a staple in my stash and go on pretty much any creation.
I also added some resin flowers and enamel dots for some variety in textures.

The memories tab is from a past kit also but again, there are plenty of alternatives in the store from the Journal Its range that would achieve the same look.
A final go to embellishment is of course a flair button ... a layout just isn't complete without one!

You can find the items I used for my page (or a good alternative) on our website in these places:

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you find some inspiration in my share for today!

Relax by Charmane Koch

Happy Sunday people! How are you all enjoying this Summer weather? I can tell you I am so glad that we have finally been getting some warm weather here in SA, after a long cold Winter & Spring...

We are really lucky to have a pool out the place we are renting, so have been using it as much as possible! YAY!

I decided my share today would be all about Summer & to use the Summer Squeeze JAP kit & take inspiration from the  Inspiration Board for January...

Here is the page that I created, using the kit plus a few other bits that I have accumulated from the

My background began with a mix of water & Yellow Mist to create a water colour background.
I have then used strips of Washi-tape from this months JAP Kit, and a couple of other kits that matched perfectly!

To create the effect on the title I have used two different Colour Paste colours to create the two-tone effect - I love how it turned out!

I have layered a few of the embellishments from the JAP kit to create a cluster in the bottom right corner, where I have journaled and added the date.

Extras that I have used from the D-lish Scraps shop is:

Do you have the Summer Squeeze JAP kit? Why not give the Monthly Inspiration Board a go!

Have fun creating!

XO Charmane

'Relaxation' by Belinda Griffin

Hi All,

Belinda back with you today to share a bright, summery layout! Our weather here in Melbourne has been all over the place so a summer inspired layout with lots of colour seemed a great way to relish the hot days we are getting. So of course I had to pull out the fabulous Summer Squeeze just add paper kit- perfect embellishments for this layout! There's still a couple of these kits available so make sure you get your hands on one quickly HERE.

Because I wanted a bright, fun background I decided to do something a little different for me and create an abstract background with a mixture of mists, D-lish micro beads and sequin strands. I used the sunburst stencil from the JAP kit, covering all but one line in the sunburst to create random lines across my page in varying colours. The microbeads from the kit just happened to perfectly match one of the mists I had so after spraying I then added a little glue to some of the melon coloured areas, sprinkling the beads on thickly to add some texture to my background.

With such a busy background I chose not to mat my photo, simply adhering it to the background. I then used the wood veneer 'relax' from the JAP kit alongside some other alphas to complete my title. I then added embellishment clusters to diagonal corners of my layout, using the coloured hessian from the JAP kit to ground each cluster. I cut the hessian into heart shapes, adding in a fower, the little resin camera, a flair badge & the flamingo (adorable!) from the kit alongside other items from the store- wood veneer star, resin diamond, wood veneer heart, chipboard cameras and resin glitter dot.

I then added a little penant flag to the top left corner (a piece of one of the tags from the printed tag pack), grounding the alphas showing the year the photo was taken. A final sprinkle of sequins and this fun, bright layout was complete!

The Just Add Paper kit made this layout so easy, if you have never purchased one seriously do it now!

Thanks for stopping by today

Always - by Anthea

Hi all.

How is the new year treating you so far?  Hopefully well.  I hope you are finding time to do the things that you love most.

I have been busy doing not a lot of anything - but I still have found some time to sit and scrap.  This LO was going to be my entry for Anita's cybercrop challenge last month, but I was a little late with it so I thought I might share it here.  The challenge was a colour challenge using the colours, copper, blush, black and white.

Whilst I found the colour combo absolutely stunning - I will admit I found it very hard to work with.  I will also say I am still not sure what colour blush was meant to be. I went with a pale pinky/orangey colour - I think it is close.

This LO is especially important to me as it is a picture of my Nonna (Grandmother), who we sadly lost a few years ago.  My Nonna was an amazing woman with an amazing life.

There are many stories to tell about my Nonna, but in this LO I wanted to focus on the fact that she will always be loved and never forgotten.  She will live on forever, through us.

This LO didn't come together quickly.  I moved things around a lot. I opted not to go grungy with this LO - so a stencil and texture paste were as messy as I got with this one.  I think/hope you can see that there is a bit of an ombre effect going on with the stencil design!?  I will tell you that that was a happy accident - who knew paint not washed off a stencil properly could turn out so pretty?
After I got my background right, I added a doiley as a backing to the photo to soften it. The copper wire was just to add a bit of texture (and the oh so important copper colour that was required for the challenge).  I then just added a bunch of flowers from D-lish that I thought would work. The main flowers are from a Green Tara Azalea pack and I used my favourite wax blossoms and roses to fill the spaces.

I used a heap of goodies from the peaches and cream JAP kit.  The sequin bow, the journal tag, the washi tape, the wooden hearts and flair button all came from there.  The resin flowers in this LO were just some I had lying around, but you can get heaps of similar ones from here.

The wooden heart frame was a perfect backing to my title - I had originally planned on colouring it copper, but decided I really liked it raw.  Lastly, but not least (in my mind anyway), I added the copper sequins.

I hope you like my LO and I encourage you to check out the scrap suite for lots more challenges.  This month, if you play along, you could win one of five of this kit.  I adore the colours in this and would love to have one of these of my own. I hope you do play along and I look forward to seeing what you create.

Till next time.
Take Care.
Anthea
